We Are Mission-Driven

Yes, we are a community committed to outreach and mission, driven by a commitment to exalt the humble and meek, and to fill the hungry with good things. We are called by God to help make the world a better place, and some of the ways we try to accomplish that are listed below. We calculate that our efforts affect nearly 3,000 people each year; that's quite the impact for such a small congregation!

Donations We Make as a Parish

We regularly support various charities, including Boyne Area Community Christmas, the Boyne City Deacons' Fund, Episcopal Relief and Development, Boyne Community Free Clinic, the Good Neighbors’ Food Pantry, and Moms & Tots Center of Good Samaritan Family Services

Church-Sponsored Programs

Pantry Garden: The back yard of our church is dedicated to a garden for the Good Neighbors' Food Pantry. The garden is lovingly tended by Mike LaLande, who is not even a member of our congregation! Members assist him, of course.

Community Outreach

Boyne Area Community Christmas: This group of volunteers work to provide baskets of food and gifts for over 200 needy families in our community.

Boyne City Deacons' Fund: Administered by the Boyne City Ministerial Association, this fund was established to provide financial assistance to families in extreme need.

Good Neighbors' Food Pantry: The pantry is open every Tuesday, 10 a.m to 12 noon and 2 to 5 p.m., at 624 State Street (behind the Free Clinic). Phone: 231-497-8677. Several of our number volunteer every week.

Boyne Area Community Christmas: In addition to donating funds, toys, and clothing, we help sort and pack these items for delivery to neighboring children each year.
